Neighborhood Network

Please join City staff and officials for a discussion about your neighborhood.  Neighborhoods that have a recently updated neighborhood plan will meet to consider:

  • How is the neighborhood plan working?
  • What projects should be promoted during 2011 and 2012?
  • Which neighborhood goals should be addressed?

Each meeting includes an opportunity to meet and share your questions with Redmond’s Mayor, Councilmembers and members of the City boards and commissions.  Attendees will also participate in small group discussions that focus on topics addressed by their respective neighborhood plans.  Those looking to volunteer on behalf of the neighborhood will have an opportunity to share their interest and connect with staff regarding ongoing stewardship.

The 2010 pilot of the Neighborhood Network in Grass Lawn and Education Hill neighborhoods was a success.  Participants enjoyed the opportunity to meet neighbors in a new setting that included folks from a variety of locations, background, length of residency and interests.  Potential neighborhood goals ranged from re-vegetation projects to neighborhood-wide yard sales.

Please refer to Redmond’s Neighborhood Map, check your neighborhood webpage or Facebook, or contact Kimberly Dietz, 425-556-2415, kdietz@redmond.gov to learn about Redmond’s Neighborhood Network – in your neighborhood.
