This fall, the City is working together with Puget Sound Energy and its partner, OPower, on a demonstration program to identify ways to increase home energy efficiency. PSE will identify Redmond homeowners who are eligible to participate in this program. Identified participants will receive regular reports telling them where they stand in comparison to their neighborhood with respect to energy use (both electricity and gas).

The program also includes energy efficiency offers and rebates most relevant to participating households. The demonstration program is funded through an Energy Efficiency and Conservation Block grant received from the US Department of Energy and matching funds from Puget Sound Energy.
