RedmondTMP is the address for the Transportation Master Plan Facebook fan page for the City of Redmond.

Created to engage, inspire and inform the community of the Redmond Transportation Master Plan (TMP) update 2010, and for the ongoing Redmond transportation development and other projects, the use of Facebook will enable the City to:

• Reach out to a wider and broader community
• Provide ways for the general public to track the project as set out in the TMP.
• Inform the public of policies, guidelines and objectives

It is a great opportunity for the community to help set the priorities the city should use, and share their vision in shaping the TMP

Redmond Transportation Master Plan sets a course for Redmond to follow in developing and managing its transportation system, and provides programs, projects and actions to be taken by the City from now to 2030.

Adopted in 2005, the TMP is a “living document” that will be updated every five years. This year (2010) is the first update of the TMP. Work to update the TMP will be based on community priorities and on a realistic assessment of the effectiveness of the various projects and programs contained in the first TMP. The revision of the TMP this year includes a strong emphasis on sustainability.
