Project Description:This project will remove and replace damaged concrete panels, rehabilitate existing concrete pavement and resurface lanes and shoulders with asphalt pavement.
Drivers can expect delays with intermittent north and southbound lane and shoulder closures. Detours will be in place as needed. Bicyclists travelling northbound must detour at 187th Avenue NE to either SR202 or to the stairwell for access to the underpass to the King County East Lake Sammamish Bike Trail. The construction work will be performed Monday through Friday from 7am to 6pm. Consider alternate routes during these times.
Pavement Management Program
Project Description: The Pavement Management Program preserves and maintains the City's infrastructure in good condition, seeking an average "pavement score" of more than 80 out of a possible 100 points. The current average pavement rating in Redmond is above 80, which ranks the City's pavement infrastructure as in generally excellent condition.
The budget for 2009 and 2010 is $1,000,000 each year. Look at the 2009/10 map to see the streets to be maintained this year and next year.
