Entry and Checkpoint
The event entrance and exit routes will be strictly enforced. Please study the map prior to coming to the event.
Upon arrival at the entry, greeters will verify the acceptance of materials and proof of Redmond city-limit residency for Stations 11-15. Please read
all the information and follow the rules and restrictions, which are strictly enforced.
Special Request!
Bring 2 or more cans of nonperishable food items to support those in need in our city during these hard economic times. (See details under Station 1.)
Loading and Driving
A current law requires drivers to secure their loads when using public streets. When coming to the event, any participants not complying with the law can be fined. All participants must strictly follow the event route. Please be patient and flexible. Don't block the driveways/exits of businesses on NE 76th Street while waiting in line. The drop-off stations are set up in numbered order as listed by each material. To quickly and easily unload at each station, please pack your items for the stations in DESCENDING ORDER - last item placed in your vehicle will be the first item out! Tip: The higher the station number for a material, the earlier that material should be loaded into your vehicle.

Wondering what to do with hazardous materials sitting there unused in your shed or garage? Dispose of these materials FREE through King County's Local Hazardous Materials Management Program. The two options are listed below.
Household hazardous materials include, but are not limited to, the following materials:
- Oil-based paints (No latex paint. Dry it out and put in the garbage can. For more information, call 206-296-4466.
- Thinners & solvents
- Fluorescent light bulbs/tubes (Disposal Option 1 & Option 2 below and a maximum limit of 10 of each item.)
- Butane and propane tanks/canisters and kerosene (Disposal Option 1 & Option 2 below and items may be empty or full.)
- Pesticides
- Glues & adhesives, aerosols
- Hobby chemicals
- Toxic cleaning products
- Products with Mercury
- Antifreeze & automobile fluids
- Used motor oil*, gasoline, diesel

Factoria Household Hazardous Waste Storage Drop-Off Facility

Days: Tuesday - Sunday, except holidays
Hours: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Limits: 30 gallons of gasoline; 50 gallons total per customer, per day. No containers over 5 gallons in size; no latex paint.
OPTION 2 - September 25th - 27th
Wastemobile
Location: Home Depot Parking Lot
Date: September 25th - 27th, 2009
Hours: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Limits: 30 gallons of gasoline; 50 gallons total per customer, per day. No containers over 5 gallons in size; no latex paint.
RECOMMENDATION: To avoid delays, if possible go during weekdays or in the mornings. Please keep products in original containers or label them if they are not. For more information, please call the Household Hazards Line at 206-296-4692 or visit the website.
*Unused motor oil can also be recycled through Redmond's curbside program. Call Waste Management at 425-814-1695 or visit Waste Management for more information about how to recycle motor oil correctly.
