During the first half of 2010, the Bear Creek Citizen Advisory Committee (CAC) will prepare recommendations for draft policy updates to the Bear Creek Neighborhood Plan. The policy updates are based on the draft vision statement that the community helped develop in fall 2009.

CAC members and City staff will be in attendance to hear your ideas and feedback on policies drafted to date and on topics for which policies have not yet been drafted.
Draft policies are expected to be complete for the topics of neighborhood character, housing, transportation and circulation and land use. Updates for environmental protection, parks, recreation and open space and utilities are expected to be available by summer.
The latest information about the neighborhood plan update is always available on the City’s website. On the project page, sign-up to receive periodic email or mail updates.
Finally, the CAC welcomes the public to its meetings, which occur on the second and fourth Thursdays of the month at 4:30pm at Redmond City Hall, 15670 NE 85th Street (check the website for date and location changes).
